Trauma Informed UK Schools
The organisation Trauma Informed UK Schools wants to improve the health, well-being and learning abilities of the most vulnerable schoolchildren in the UK that have been exposed to trauma, abuse, neglect, or mental health problems. Trauma-informed UK Schools provide school staff training and resources that can be used in the classroom, including emotion cards and relationship cards using emotive and artistic images to support therapeutic conversations. The resources and training can be purchased and designed to empower school staff to understand better the needs of children and teenagers who experienced trauma or have mental health issues. The training also teaches practitioners about the practices implemented in trauma-informed schools, such as relational approaches and interventions that impact and contribute to positive whole school culture.
