Pscyho-Social Problems of Children Experiencing Trauma and Coping Methods
This article has been written by Pscyhological Counseling and Guidance Unit. The article gives an overview about psycho-social development of children in which 8 stages of personality development are mentioned.
After the overview, current state regarding migration are explained and most common disorders that are observed in children who experience a trauma as follows:
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder
• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
• Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity
• Anti-social Personality Disorder
In the last part of the article, some suggestions, and tips to cope with pscyho-social problems observed in the traumatized children are given to parents, teachers, school management and different relevant instutions.
