Main ideas
- This course aims to guide the teachers/educators about recognizing the children with trauma in the classroom environment by providing explanations about the physical and psychological symptoms of the children with trauma.
- It also introduces trauma informed care with core values and underlines some important action steps to create safe learning environment for traumatized children.
- With these purposes, the course is aimed at clarifying trauma-teaching strategies and guiding principles of trauma informed care and states their positive and supporting effect on teaching environments.
