We Learn About Refugees

Without a doubt, the needs of young refugees are demanding, as they have been exposed to stressful past traumatic events. Due to a lack of sufficient, well-organized educational materials, UNHCR has designed a long-awaited handbook of standards for Greek schoolteachers of Primary and Secondary Education. The handbook contains information about the clinical picture of 12 to 18 years old refugees affected by mental traumas, valuable techniques to tackle their distress within the school environment, and how to promote resilience within them.
