Mental Resilience at School: The Psychological Support of Children With Traumas
The School unit is an environment which consists of pupils with diverse psychosocial backgrounds, and inevitably the schoolteacher may encounter young kids affected by mental traumas due to a loss of a relative, natural disasters, wars, terrorist attacks, immigration etc. The present scientific article examines the stages of psychological crises of a school-aged child, supplementing the reader with knowledge about the clinical picture of the trauma. Additionally, the article addresses five crucial strategies for promoting mental resilience and presents techniques for managing psychological crises under the scope of cognitive and emotional principles.
